Kenny Miller Biography

Kenneth Miller, or Kenny Miller as he is better known, is a twenty eight year old who plays for Rangers FC and the Scottish national side. The Scotsman is a centre forward, and has recently resigned for the Scottish side.

Kenny Miller began his senior career playing for his local side Hibernian. He spent four years at the club, which included a one year loan spell at Scottish third division side Stenhousemuir. It was here where he established himself, scoring eight goals in eleven league games. When he came back to Hibernian he has won himself a regular first team place, and in the three year period while at the club he won forty five caps and scored twelve goals.

In June 2000, Kenny Miller signed for Rangers FC where he spent just half a season before he was loaned out. While at Rangers, Miller made thirty eight appearances, scoring eleven goals, but was then moved to English club Wolverhampton Wanderers. While at Wolves, the player made five appearances and scored two goals, and this impressive record meant that Wolves signed Miller for three million pounds. Kenny Miller then really impressed everyone, showing pace and a keen eye for a finish, and in his five years at Wolverhampton Wanderers, Miller scored fifty goals in one hundred and sixty two league appearances.

Miller then moved back to Scotland, where he signed for Celtic FC in 2006. He spent one year at the club, making thirty three appearances before moving back to England to play for newly promoted side Derby FC. Miller then spent one year at Derby, but had a very uninspiring season, and Derby were relegated back to the Championship after winning just one game in the whole season.

Kenny Miller was then sold to Scottish club Rangers FC for the second time in his career, but this time it was for a fee of around two and a quarter million pounds. Miller is yet to make any appearances for the Scottish side.

Kenny Miller’s international career has been just as impressive than his club one, and so far he has scored eleven goals in thirty seven appearances, and was a key part in Scotland’s unsuccessful qualifying campaigns to get in to Euro 2004, the 2006 World Cup and the Euro 2008 finals in Austria and Switzerland. It is extremely likely that Miller will play a crucial part in Scotland’s World Cup 2010 qualifying campaign, too.
